New NH backhoe questions

Im thinking of taking the plunge for a new TC55d and Im thinking of getting a backhoe for it. I want a NH version so what models are for the 55 and what do i look for. Bucket type? sub frame? Remote hydraulics or PTO? how many rear remotes needed? How easy to Hook up and take back off as i will be doing this a-lot and most importantly what is considered a good deal on a NH backhoe for a Tc55D? $7000?

I would get heavy duty bucket's and the subframe take the dealer's advise on the hydraulic's to run it some say a pump some say the tractor hydraulics.I think it uses the 759c model.I wouldnt know the price or how long to remove it.Congrat's on your purchase.

what tractor hydraulics would it use and how would it hook in? Anyone?

It would plug into the rear remotes. Get at least a 9ft hoe for that size tractor. If you get the aux hydraulics you can run the tractor at a slower RPM and still have reasonable BH speed. Remember, it has 4 circuits that all want fluid at the same time.

so how many remotes would i have to add and how would you engage the remotes since normally the handle would be reached from front seat? They are expensive!!! Wouldnt running from the pto be much cheaper?

Just one set of remotes (in out). The hoe hyd. valves will split it from there.
The Remote lever usually has a detent or lever lock.

Ok so im going to have a set of remotes anyway and i just set it forward or backwards(whichever works right) and leave it from drivers seat and the rest is up to backhoe? next question for anyone who has a backhoe is when you want to move the tractor do you have to get off and move tractor and then get back on or can you lift the stabalizers and push tractor forward with hoe or pull it back? or what is the normal routine?

I've got a 2120 with the 758c bh. I can roll my tractor ahead with the backhoe if it's level or downhill. Uphill is a little tough usually. Rough terrain I have to get off and move the tractor. When working on stumps or rocks I set the brakes and stick the bucket in the ground to help prevent the bh from dragging the tractor around. Uphill is a little tough usually. It comes in handy when digging a trench or ditch.
The way my hydraulics are set up is I have a lever that diverts the hydraulics from the 3pt hitch to the rear remotes. I have no experience with the pto pump setup, but I would think the rear remotes would be the better route. Good point made there by shaley about not having to run the rpm so high with the remotes.

Here are some great books on Tractor Loader Backhoe operating techniques.
There is a lot of good info in the first one for loader work. I have all three.
1. Operating Techniques for the Tractor-Loader- Backhoe By Gary J. Ober
Everybody with a BH should read this. This is a trade school text book.

2. Backhoe Loader handbook. By Reinor Christian.
Good stuff less pictures than above.
I think the first 2 are great books with a lot of basic and advanced info.

This next one is more for planning construction projects that require excavation.
