- MF 2860E / John Deere 3020, 720, B, GP / IHC 560, 1020 F12
Just took delivery of my 2860E
I was looking for something with a little more horsepower than my Kubota L3400 (which I had for 18 years and absolutely love). I needed rear remotes and something around 55HP to run my mowers, rake hay, and handle some bigger chores that the Kubota couldn't handle.
I wanted to stay with Kubota MX series, but we could not agree on a price. The same was true with John Deere, which I have several older Deeres in my barn today. I didn't want to gamble on a Rural King tractor, and had some concerns with the quality of CaseIH and NewHolland.
So far, I'm very happy with this purchase and I don't have buyers remorse. The machine is quiet and powerful. Hay season is about a month away, and I'm looking forward to using it. I'll post more reviews in a few months after spending some time behind the wheel of this machine.
