Seems like a friendly bunch, looking forward to reviewing some of the past posts.

I was enthralled by the cab, but it will have to wait. My old snowthrower had a canvas and plastic cab, but it still helped a lot. I'll go cabless the first winter and start marshalling my arguments!

Doffy, went through Glennallen twice this summer, doing the "Lap of Alaska" (Denali-Fairbanks-Delta Junction-Glennallen-home). I always enjoy that trip, so much beauty and variety in this state. This has been the best fall since we've been here!

Thanks again to all, already feel like a member of the community!

You make me home sick with your "lap of Ak" - bladester. Nothing like going out the Denali Hwy from Paxson in the early fall.

Agreed! This has been an awesome Fall. 10-15 degrees above average and a one month streak without rain. The snowshoe hare have changed color and stand out like little white beacons in a drab and brown forest. I hope the Owls, Fox and Lynx leave a few for our viewing pleasure this Winter.

For ME, the best fall trip by far, was going to McCarthy and hanging out on the McCarthy road for several days to a week.

Every year, I would hike in to a fair sized lake and hang out there... It was a valley of backed up water that had a HUGE beaver dam across it.

One year I hiked in, and the whole lake was gone... lol It looked like someone blew the dam out, for what ever reason I could never figure out...

Your new toy should arrive just in time. The snows have already begun at Eureka. Congrats on the new Tractor.
