New Holland TC29DA--Why Two Different Body Styles?

Wondering why the TC29DA shows up with two different body styles. The attached pics are supposedly both TC29DA's but notice the different in the grill/headlight area.

The one without the loader is a 33 according to TD:

so I guess there may be an age-related body style upgrade as the 29 & 33 share most things including manuals.

The tractor in the second pic is misrepresented and is not a DA. It looks to be a TC29D or TC33D. Wrong hood and chassis color for a DA.

Edit: The serial number tag clearly states it is a TC29D.

Tractordata.com isn't the Bible. There are thousands of TC29D's in North America. The dealership I used to work for probably sold 25 of them. A TC29 DA would look exactly like the TC33DA except for the hood decal. The TC29D preceded the DA, and the gray chassis TC29D pictured in your second photo is an early version of that model. As I stated, the PurpleWave tractor is misrepresented.

It's listed as the deluxe variant of the TC29. TractorData.com New Holland TC29 tractor information

As I understand it, they were a pretty popular model. I like mine quite a bit. Handy little tractor. If anyone needs a service manual for a 25, 29, or 33, PM me.

It is a model year thing. I owned a tc29 with the horizontal headlights. Several years later, bought a tc33 with the swoopy headlights. Enjoyed having them both. Wish I still had the 33. Nice size machine and it was paid for!
