The A/C unit is quite the eyesore though....plus, with the added height of the A/C, I bet a 3x20 Cab is shorter...

By the time you buy a new 2x20, the cab, installation, etc, I bet you'd be a stones throw away from a 3320 Cab...My dad paid about 5k for his Laurin cab 11 years ago...Without a doubt, probably the best aftermarket cab money can buy...

Your right but thought it was interesting that the hard cab is available for such a small tractor.

I feel for the guys out blowing snow in an OS tractor though, while I have cabbed tractors I don't have snow equipment. That is my excuse to stay home and get things done inside.:D

I was wondering what the cost would be. Anyone know if it has the noise volume that other aftermarket cabs have?

Nuru, its a hard comparison...BUT, I can say without a doubt that my 3520 Cab is WAYYYYY quieter then my Dad's L2900 w/Laurin Cab.....The Laurin cab is 50x quieter then a Sims i've been in...as far as aftermarket cabs are concerned...I dont think you can get any better then a Laurin.

I think alot of the noise in the aftermarket cabs comes from all the levers, openings, etc... they just arent as sealed as a factory cab option...All those levers have slots open to the elements at the bottom, not to mention, because they are "hard connected" to framework and such, they act like a tuning fork inside the cab...

Thanks Dave, I had heard that was the case in other threads in the forum.

Nuru,
The aftermarket cabs are louder than the factory cabs for sure. The comfort as far as weather protection though in the Laurin cabs is great. My reason for posting about this new cab was it is the first I have seen with the AC offering and second the large number of posting on this board for 2000 series aftermarket cabs.

While I have a Laurin cab I think JoDale Perry also makes a great cab, they both beat being in a blizzard in an OS tractor.

Laurin has had the A/C offering for +/- 15 Years on its cabs....
You are correct, JoDale Perry has a VERY nice cab as well...back in the day, JoDale Perry really broke thru the compact market with its cab for the JD x55 series...Laurin didnt offer one and a ton of JD's up home ended up with JoDale Perry cabs.

Lots of the small compact equipment cabs have not offered AC until recently. For instance the AC was not an option available from Laurin for the 110 when I ordered mine in Feb of 2005. It was not available on the Caterpillar mini excavators either, but for sure tha larger tractor cabs have had them as offerings for quite some time. I ordered a kt from Hammond for my Laurin and installed it after the fact.

So here we have a twenty something hp cab offering with AC and thought I would pass it along.

It's been a heck of a winter so far this year and I for one wouldn't mind a cab tractor with a snowblower. So, who's going to build me a shed to keep it in?
Seriously, a 2320 with such a cab would probably cost nearly a 3320. So how does it compete pricewise with the new Mitsubishi 23 hp factory cab tractor???

A better question, why not go with a Toolcat at this point?
