They had to go back to add the 2" insulation that we added. Town inspects and then backfilled.

Any need to place a footing drain to daylight?

My only similar project was in Austria and I was amazed at just how much water the footing drain intercepted... it's been 30 years and still working well...

I have a place where I could fit that MX or the mini excavator quite nicely. Save you from having to store them and all that

Yes, I have a daylight footing drain now and will in the home as well.

The garage area was something we added after the builder began the home so while we wait for the tree clearing to begin, the house is getting started.
