Started a fence project to fence in a field behind our barn. As we had the posts, wire and staples all I needed was to drill the holes and install the wire, NOT. Of course I have 7 other projects to do before I get to that point. Have to clear an area to move about 30 yards of composted dirt and dam dirt (screened silt from behind a dam). Then move the dirt to the new cleared spot. Now the area where I had the dirt move cedar logs to frame 2 compost/manure piles and then move the 2 compost/manure piles from the field to the new location. Then had to move a few cedar logs from the field as well. Then I have to find a new spot for our shaving pile, we get a truck with 35 yards at a time so it has to be where a truck can come in and dump it close to the barn and chicken coop. Then I am getting a load of rock tomorrow to fill in a hole and shore up a bank close to the creek before the fence goes up. Then I think I am ready to actually do the fencing. Nice thing is it gives me seat time.
