Something weird is Kubota already sells engines well over 100 HP. Their 6.2 liter is 171 net min the M7-171 tractor, and the 3.8 liter is well over 100 HP in both Kubota and Caterpillar configurations. Maybe they meant first over 200 HP engine.

I think he said first ever diesel engine to meet Stage V Regulations.

Very ambiguous because it mentions stage 5 capable as an afterthought. It states Kubota, leader in diesel engines under 100 HP, is introducing an engine capable of more than 100 HP which of course it already has. The real takeaways are capable of 200 up. With powerhouse the 6.2 liter does not get that high. It is a smaller displacement engine capable of higher power and better fuel economy. This is an industry wide trend. Being stage 5 capable in this power class is not really innovative as most majors already have stage 5 capable engines without fresh sheet of paper design.
