Put on two wrenches with about a 45-degree angle between them. Then add a couple of loops of paracord between the off ends, stick another shorter wrench into the loops and tighten it up.

Kind of like this except with smaller wrenches:

Thanks for the advice. I haven't had a chance to get to it yet. I'll post here with what does or doesn't do the trick.
