Need to order remote kit for my M9000 2005 Kubota tractor. I have one remote and am wanting to put another one on the tractor. Where is the best place to order this? Do you just call it the remote kit? Do I need anything else? What is the anticipated cost?

Thanks,

TC

Do you want a factory kit or do it yourself kit?

What do you suggest? I'm open for anything. I was thinking about a factory kit but if there isn't any difference the other would work.

A do it yourself kit will be cheaper but won't fit as smoothly/easily. Do you anticipate requiring a "float position" on the added remote kit? It's my understanding that non of Kubota's 1st remote kit's have a "float position". I think a Kubota 2nd remote kit is in the $800-$900 range.

Here is a Surplus Center three spool stacked valve to get you stated.

$369.90

Add hoses, QD's, and mounting bracket.

You should call your dealer and get a price, then put it on yourself. There are a quick a few options for your tractor, also while your at it get a parts manual.

My suggestion is to get the OEM price for the 2nd rear remote. Then you will feel good about any of the ways that you can go with aftermarket stuff. I suggest a diverter setup and use the single OEM rear remote to feed those. Have done this many times and most everyone has been happy with the results.

Why pay for something(parts manual) that's available online for free?

Yes Jim I know that, just if he got the manual he can see all the options there are about 5 or 6 for his tractor. He can do the search for it. I'm guessing the 2nd valve is around the $300 to 400 price.

I may be way off on pricing, only going by what my customers tell me, but once Kubota goes out of production on a model, the parts go up in cost and not just a little bit.

But this is hearsay and why I said to go and get the price for the OEM unit to start with. ;) I would be interested in hearing what Kubota actually wants for the 2nd valve for his tractor.
