I know this is way off the topic, but it had to comment that many of the tractor pictures posted on this site look nothing like my Kubota. Mine has dirt all over it, grease caked up on every joint, scratches and wear marks. How are do some of these kubotas look so shinny and new...

I do give her a good annual bath before maintenance but the dirt always seems to find her again. Feel like pigpen lol

Some guys like to keep their machines, as they do their pickup truck or their Harley or their sports car. Shrug.
It's everyone's choice. I find most of my machines just seem to run better if they're clean, but I'm not a slave to it. Use them, get them dirty, then hose them off. Get them all snow covered in winter seems to help too.
Once in a while, really give them good cleaning.

Seems to always have paid off at selling time on my stuff anyhow.
