I have not been back to the ranch for install. I would suppose the headlights would be affected by thickness of screen/expanded metal...

I use Kubota OEM Orange II and never an issue being outdoors.
OEM Kubota paint is great quality.

When I saw the thread title, my first thought was "don't use a brush"...
Does painting a brush guard mat black help with glare from the headlights, or does everybody with a brush guard just avoid using the headlights (like me)?

Mount a separate set of independently switched LED lights above the brush guard and you can have both OEM paint and still see. Make lights look like they belong.
