Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Need Help/Info to Repair Meteor Snowblower

I will go to the hardware store and identify the exact bolt size, including length. It is quite short so that it does not project into the gearbox. I think there is enough "meat" to work with in the hole, so I may try to tap it.

Drilling would not work because I just don't have the space available to work with a drill.
