Mozilla cuts 25% of workforce. Firefox is history?

I have loved using Fire Fox until the last few months. The last few months I have had problems with several websites that I use often. It seems that the list of websites that do not correctly with FF keeps growing. I have been using Edge for those. I do not like Edge as well as FF.

Funny! Maybe Kioti really makes Kubota after all. You only think you have a Kobota. lol

I avoid Google search like the plague. My default is DuckDuckGo. :duck:

I dunno, I tried DDG a few times and ended up going back to Google. Yeah, I know Google tracks you everywhere you go, but it just seems to produce more relevant (to me) hits than any of the others. YMMV

I can understand all browsers being built from a standard platform. Otherwise it would be impossible for website designers to build websites to work with all of the different platforms.

I tried Brave, I do like it, but it does not work for me with Ebay. The Ebay site just freezes after it loads.

You are correct that Google produces more relevant hits than DuckDuckGo. It's a matter of relevancy vs. privacy. I think (but dunno for sure) that Google can't track you if you use a VPN to hide your IP address? :confused3:

My problem with Google is the first page of returns for 2+2= ? are all Amozon links.
None of which have anything to do with 4.

Used Brave for over 2 months now. No problems other than ebay initially. That has been fixed in the last month or so.

A little different layout for settings, etc, but once you find them, you can customize it the way you want.

And it's still twice as fast as Firefox on my PC.

To everybody using Duck Duck Go>>>>> just use startpage . com Basically full privacy WITH Google search results. Much better than DDG. I have no idea why everybody keeps talking about DDG when there are better alternatives.

And to Diggin It: Firefox does NOT use the same underlying engine as Chrome and almost all the other browsers (including new Edge).
