Far too many people here are being far too judgmental of the drivers who parked by hydrants in these examples. There was surly some extenuating circumstances or third party to blame. You are only condemning drivers because you think they must be from another country,a liberial,non-christian,person of color,lead an alternate lifestyle or don't share all your values. What would you say if it were a young,white,colledge educated couple from middle America that stopped for dinner and drinks at the country club? :stirthepot:

Decades ago a bunch of people from work got together and went deep sea fishing. One up and coming executive apparently thought it would impress his new girlfriend if he parked right out front of the wharf in a no parking zone, so they wouldn't have far to walk. At the end of the trip the rest of us got into our vehicles and went home; while he had to go find out where his car had been towed. I'm not sure how "impressed" his GF was.

Why are you bringing politics into this? No reason to bring in race, religion, beliefs or anything else. I would judge the driver no matter who he was, because he broke the law.
