I didn't replace the clutch last time, so I don't completely understand what goes wrong on them. I noticed after a winter of using the new clutch, it needed a little free play adjustment. Now after a month or so of mowing, it has a bunch of free play and I have trouble getting the pto engaged without grinding. What can be going wrong here? I could readjust the free play, but the clutch arm is going as far forward as it can go before hitting the bell housing.
Help?

Alright. Pipe down now. I'm suprised no responses!
Split the tractor today with the mechanics help, and found that the drift pin that holds the lever behind the throwout bearing onto the shaft for the clutch pedal was disenigrating. This allowed the shaft to turn some, and travel was much reduced. $0.50 part. All fixed now!
