Hey Everyone,

I was out moving some brush this morning when the "low trans pressure" light and buzzer went off.

I wasn't sure what that light meant and drove the tractor a few hundred yards and it seemed to drive ok. Forward & reverse worked.

I have checked fluid level and for any signs of leaks. It looks fine....

What are the likely causes? Next troubleshooting steps?

Thank you.

Stephen

I am strongly suspecting the pressure sensor.

Now if I could find it.......

I have no idea how Mahindra does their power shuttle.

My Branson has a pickup screen for the transmission pump that you access from the rear of the tractor.
The only time I've gotten pressure or temperature warning is when a remote hydraulic got stuck in detent
and was dead heading the hydraulics which heated the hydraulic fluid up.

Is there any way, short of a gauge, to get an idea if the pressure is really low?

Hydraulics performance?
Shuttle behavior?

Any thoughts on the location of the sensor?

Thanks.

Other then a gauge I know of no other way to check pressure,
if it got so low that the clutch packs were slipping under light loads it would be very low.

There are some good pictures on the Mahindra parts breakdowns, this one shows two pressure switchs #46 and #48;

Thank you!!!

I had not been able to find it in the drawings. Might be that I had been looking at the wrong drawing.....

Good drawing + three minutes to find the sensor and plug it back in = Problem Solved

Thanks again!

I was gonna say a wire connector had been popped off by stray brush. It happens to my 6520's neutral safety switch every other time I mow.
hugs, Brandi
