Wanted to drain fuel from filter cup on my max 28. Book says shut off fuel. I Traced the fuel line back to the firewall and I don't see a fuel shut off. Dealer closed till Monday. Am I missing something????

I would think the Max 28 uses a similar fuel bowl setup on all tractors. The lever should be built in to the top of where your fuel bowl is.

Yes, there should be a lever built into the top of the fuel bowl Housing. Of course I have never seen a Max28 but most are built this way.

Got a hold of the mechanic from dealer. He only lives a dew miles from me he said that the max series doesn't have shut offs on fuel. He uses vise gripe and pinches line off to change filters. Make no sense to me.

Wow. I believe I would see if I could find an inline one and install it.

I have a 3016 with no fuel shut off. Was told by the dealer that some have them and some dont.
That really dont help much when the bowl is leaking and you cant get it to stop.
