Mahindra 3510
I have a 2006 Mahindra 3510 that is leaking 80w-90 out of the bottom of the steering joint on the right side of the tractor. It is coming from the very bottom of the joint below where you drain the front axle, anyone had this happen or know how big of a fix this is?

It could just be the cap on the bottom seal... have done this to more than a few and it fixes the leak... BUT it could aslo be the whole seal and that is a big job.

I have a picture of it, but cannot figure out how to add it on here. It is coming out at the very bottom of the joint.

What cap are you referring to Navasot? looks like it pivots on the bottom where it is leaking

The bottom of the outdrive housing is sealed with a large, rubber coated metal cup plug - similar to an engine freeze plug if you have ever replaced one. Yours may be like mine and has a plate bolted on over it so you can't actually see the plug while installed on the tractor. I've changed several in my outdrives while I've had them off to replace broken axle shafts and countershafts over the years. An outdrive only takes about 15 minutes to remove but it is a bear to deal with the heavy thing. Your 3510 should be the same as my 4110 although yours is a newer model, it could be different. The plugs aren't very expensive if I remember correctly.

Thanks Skipmarcy! My tractor doesn't have a cover and three bolts, just a solid cap I suppose From what I have read. So that cap just knocks out and you drive a new one in?
