the wire to my button of my 3rd function got the cut... so i need access to the loader control valve to repair the wire. But it is under the cab panel.

anyone have any experience removing the right side inside cab panel the covers the loader valve and joystick?

does the joy stick loader handle knob come off so the panel can slide over the joy stick.

as the rubber boot wont fit over the joy stick handle

the third function button is installed in the joy stick knob, it is tight as hell in there

I know this is going to be a nightmare but any tips would help...

I look online and didn't see any videos of anyone doing this

thank you

The loader valves I've seen in a cab tractor (not your specific brand) the rubber boot tucks into the body panel. The panel comes off over top of the loader control, and the boot stays where it is.
Post a few photos of your panel, and perhaps some non Mahindra owners can also provide some insight. They're all different, but my Kubota L4060 panel comes off with a few bolts, and maybe (?) some plastic body rivits... 5 minute job.

LOL OK, I have some experience in this department! i built my own true 3rd function for my 2638 CAB and i replaced the entire grip handle with a 4 button control grip. it was a bit of a chore! that plastic panel is not the easiest IMO... You have to remove the somewhat useless plastic Philips head looking rivets that do not just simply unscrew...as me how i know that... anyway they do come out. but before you do, you need to remove the plastic panel covering the washer fluid tank and you have to almost remove the washer fluid tank to get enough room for the bottom panel to lift off the Joystick to get access underneath it all... Not sure i took pictures of that part but I'm not about to go and do it for the heck of it LOL. it sounds overly complicated but I'm sure it can be done in under an hour.... look at one of my other posts (New 2638 i think) probably won't help you but you can see what it looks like on mine. Getting it all put back together over the stick and the stick lock is probably harder than removal of it all. Not a lot of help but i did do it on mine.
