Made the decision JD4120 with 400CX

Thanks to all of your inputs from previous threads I decided today to buy a used 2005 4120 with a 400CX FEL. Only 200 hours on it been stored in a building for the last 3 years.

It will arrive Friday!!!

I ended up selling my fully restored '59 Ford 601 Workmaster with Wagner FEL to a New Holland Dealer locally.

That's exactly the tractor that I'm lusting over currently. Hopefully I'll buy one in the next year or two.

I bought it from a dealer price was $19,500.

I also sold my 59 601 Workmaster for $4500 to a local NH dealer kind of emotional was my dad's tractor since new but the need for 4 wheel drive plus more importantly live PTO were needs that I felt were worth the change.

Good purchase. Have fun. Couple of suggestions: If it didn't come with manuals, get a set from Deere. Get a good quality grease gun, the cx has a lot of lube points. For full lift capability Deere reccomends loaded tire, wheel weights and ballast box. My experience says they are pretty close. I lifted a 2700+ lb concrete culvert, with loaded tires and 448 hoe, I was still too light on the rear end.
