Tractor
Kubota M-7060
I’m getting the check-engine light with an exclamation mark in it and my rpm is limited to 1,800. Can’t find what the light means. Tractor had been sitting for a few months.

If the top ! is flashing there should be a code displayed. If not only the dealer can diagnose. I would try disconnecting the battery for a bit and see if that clears it. I'd check all the fluids before starting it again.

Welcome to TBN
One simple thing to do is install new fuel filter & check for good fuel flow from tank. It's possible fuel tank vent is clogged.

Curious as if your owners manual don't list common codes and their cause?

Kind of curious about 1800 rpm too. With my M's, rated speed (540-1000 rpm Pto is 2100 so 1800 isn't that far off and I have to presume yours having a larger engine, maybe 1800 is Pto rpm?

No codes listed in the owners manual. The workshop manual has the ECU codes but no DTC codes. Those have to be pulled by the service dept. computer. 2160 rpm for 540 and 1828 for 540e.

Do you possibly have your PTO on, set at 540e? Or just partially?

Play around with levers and switches related to the PTO.

That is a great suggestion. I run my snowblower on 540e and I believe it does flash the (!) when I run it overspeed.

I too have an M7060; the exact same thing happened to me after sitting for a while near the arena. Turns out mice chewed up the injector harness and some of the hoses for the emissions. I hope it's not that issue for you. That was an expensive repair.
