LS 2023H Muffler fell off

I have 60 hours on my new LS2023H and the muffler is cracked just above the manafold mounting flange. It is nearly broken all the way around.
The only thing i can figure is the bracket that secures the exhaust pipe is not aligned so that when tightened the setup is torqued so much it creates the stress crack.

Anyone experiemce this problem?

dealer told me to keep an eye on it as it is a known issue.
So far no cracks on mine 350 hours.

Happened to me. Check where the muffler bolts to the power steering pump. The bolt came loose on mine. You can either have them replace it or weld it. I did the later, works fine.

Muffler cracked on mine right after I bought it. Noticed it when the motor started to roar instead of purr. Dealer fixed it under warranty. Use your warranty, that's what it's for.
