Greetings. I'm in the market for a SCUT or CUT. I owned a BX2360 years ago, and was very happy but I am a huge fan of green as I have a GT235 and a GT275. 2.5 acres, half wooded. Uses include mulch, gravel, general material moving, wood hauling... general stuff. I have been focusing on used 2210/2305/102X models; I can put some cash down but even then the remaining balance financed makes the monthly payments not terribly competitive with JD credit (already approved) on a new SCUT purchase. I'm trying to avoid anything that has mucho hours, unless I can lay eyes on a service history - which I typically can't because I'm working with dealers. So, I've started looking at Kioti and not sure I'll be happy with anything but green... thoughts? Also, is there a company that does a better job with used tractor financing than another? Paying 6% + interest seems a given, which again - pushes me towards new.

I don't think you will be happy with anything but green. New probably makes the most sense. Good luck and post pictures when you get it home!

Used interest rates are always higher than a new purchase rate, If you love green and are already approved then just get the tractor you want and be happy.....

I owned a BX 2350 for about 10 years and bought a JD2025r about 2 years ago. I really like the 60 auto connect deck. I also like the JD quick attach bucket as I got forks also. It initially seemed huge compared to the BX but I quickly got used to it. The bucket size on the BX frustrated me at times and the bucket on the JD is nearly twice as big. The tractor is similar to the JD 1025r, same engine, same loader, just on a bigger chassis and bigger tires. I own 3 acres that is half trees.

Cost? I paid 21k for mine, 2025r, loader, pallet forks, 60 mowing deck and loaded tires. I think prices have gone up some. I was a cash buyer but they knocked $500 off the price if I took out a 0% loan for 5 years. I make a payment once a year and my Kubota trade in was enough of a down payment. So I have owned the tractor nearly 2 years and have made only one payment.

I believe that there are many high quality SCUTS on the market that are every bit as good or better (Yanmar) as Green. The advantage that Green does have is their attachments and the ease of installation and removal. I used to have two different Green loaders, they both were a breeze to remove and install. My current tractor has a loader that can be removed, but it's just not as simple as the JD attachments, but the Green paint comes at a premium green$ that I wasn't willing to spend when I purchased my last tractor.

For price and value blue beats green hands down. Used SCUTs are often beat to snot and from what I've seen aren't priced a whole lot below new. What is your budget that you want used over new?

I don't know how much easier green or orange can be to take off the loader or the bucket. I can take my bucket off in the time it takes to get off the tractor, walk to the front, move two levers, and get back on the tractor.... I don't know how much easier it can get....

Taking off the entire loader, well that might be easier with green and orange by moving one lever.... but that lever is going to cost you some $$. I have to pull two pins and disconnect 4 quick disconnects.... maybe a minute or two longer?

How many times do you have to do it? The time savings of a few minutes each time doesn't add up to the many thousands more in costs .....

For my SCUTS I had a JD445 and a BX2370, they were both decent machines, issues were about the same - I would not put one ahead of the other - for a CUT I went with Kioti, after trying them all; with the lift ability, comfort, features, build I chose it, not disappointed at all, like many have said there are a lot good ones out there - it comes down to what fits....

Happy with my Kioti. I have looked at others and don't like the floors or battery positions or fuel tank positions etc. It has all the rear hydraulics that some don't. It has given me very little trouble over 14 years

At 2.5 acres a scut ought to do you I would think. We have 2.8 acres and our bx2380 is all we need and it also fits under my four post lift. You are approved for green and want green so as others have said quit messing around and go get one.
