Back on topic - I bought a Buhler Allied rear blower from Iowa Farm Equipment this fall for a good price. Of course, had to go new after spending the last couple years searching for used, and finding outrageous prices on the occasional beat to heck used unit that would pop up. And as you probably know, our local dealers are very proud of their equipment prices. I support local businesses whenever possible, and will pay a little more to buy locally, but I won't let a local business ream me.
Unfortunately, we haven't yet gotten more than 5" at a time, but I had to try the blower, so I plowed an 18" deep windrow, then hit it with the blower. Did great with that, and threw the snow a good 30'+ (dry powdery stuff). Can't wait to hit those late season big snows with the blower.
