As mentioned, I purchased my tractor the MT160D about 3 years ago. It had about 1200 hours on it. I think I paid about $1800. It was really grubby looking, but mechanically sound. I fixed all the dented tin repainted the entire tractor and did a complete maintenance routine. It did have the Brush cutter on the back as well which was in excellent shape..still is. I probably would sell it for $3000 but I live in southern Ca where everything is overpriced and out of control..lol. I just purchased my MT1601 6 months ago. It is 4wd as well with a almost new Allied front loader. It had 500 hours on it when I got it and was used by a lady, and she was really easy on it. I paid her $5000, she was asking 6K. I got a good deal on this machine...but had to travel 90 miles from where I live in Fallbrook CA., to get it. Her place was pretty remote and in the mountains.
The thing to remember about these Japanese tractors is that the hours reflected on the meter is when the tractor was shipped to the U.S. and then overhauled..or refurbished..Another thing is that these grey market guys that import these tractors may or may not do a decent job on overhaul. Some do, some don't, so if you buy the tractor do a complete maintenence...including changing out the transmission fluid, filter, etc. Good luck and have fun on your "new" machine if you buy it. Be sure to buy a tilt meter and mount it on the hood if you are in hilly country. My tractors dont have ROPS..roll over protection...so one has to be careful not to tip the damb things over..lol.
