Removed a dead tree this morning. Didn't want it to fall in the road during a storm. We had 60 MPH winds during a storm the other day. Pulled it down with a cable hooked to the tractor. After the mess was cleaned up I got a call from a couple selling a 6' box blade and a Ford Flail mower that I had looked at a week ago. They accepted my offer so I hooked up the trailer and went right down before they changed their minds. Once I got them home I did some mods the the box blade so I could use it on my quick hitch. Over the next few days I'll work on the mower getting it cleaned up and painted.

Got my flail cleaned up, replaced a few missing bolts, and painted. Also did the box blade. I have to order a couple bearings for the flail but other than that she's ready to go.

You should just go ahead and shoot it now George. It is going to eat too much, get dirt everywhere and mess up your yard. I'll come get it and dispose of it for you.

What color blue is that? Looks like a pretty close match to the LS blue.

The color is Rustoleum Gloss Sail Blue. Sprayed on 3 coats with a HF cheapie paint gun. Its a much closer match than Old Ford blue or New Holland blue.
The 56 belongs to a friend. I swapped in a small block and T400 for him in place of the original 235 - 6
The Vette is mine. Its a 79, matching numbers, small block, auto, T-Tops that I'm fixing up.
Also have a 72 Chevelle Convertible with a 402 auto. and I have a 2012 Camaro.

Isn't it fun finding old stuff and sprucing it up? You got a couple good deals... cleaned up real nice!

Now make them work. :thumbsup:
