Location for a small chain box on BX?

I am wanting to add a small box, probably find or fab a metal one w/lid to store a chain, maybe some misc. tools, pins, etc. Wondering about mounting location. Here is where I am thinking. Pros, Cons, of this location on the right side vertical member of the FEL, ideas??? Also considering the BX optional tool box but I am not sure of its volume/capacity. The Kubota box mounts on the left side and I am worried that will be a little hinderance to me hopping on/off.

I can't remember if I showed this to you. I bought a $1 crate at the Dollar Store. Fasten some Trex Decking to the bottom to level it. Then attached it to the loader arm with a zip tie. Works fine for me. I can put water there, as well as gloves, phone, or camera.

Definitely more protected there. I got long legs, I need to look at the ergonomics of that location. Thanks for sharing!

bolt 3 or 4" pvc pipe to FEL uprights right above floorboard. I put my chains inside pipe and leave hooks on top of opening.

I was just thinking about a box for mine to hold wheel chocks and othet stuff. I thought about where to put a box big enough for wheel chocks but the crate idea won't work for me because the brake is on that side. Hmmmm

I also like the idea you have JB for additional storage.
