Lifting An Overweight Load with 3 Point Hitch using TNT Top Cylinder.

I don't have any 3PH implements that can't be lifted with the B9200. The only thing that I would like to have that would be too much weight would be a seeder. Makes we wonder if anyone has lifted an overweight implement by first tilting the hydraulic top link all the way back. That would raise the 3PH lower arms quite a ways depending on the length of the implement and the stroke of the top link.
Then moving the 3PH position lever to the raised position before retracting the top link should raise the load.
I understand the ramifications of overloading the 3PH but just wondering if anyone has tried the above scenario.

should work. I had a Kioti lb1914 that I frequently overloaded with no ill effects

It's quite possible the first visible sign of it being a bad operating practice is when it literally rips the top link mount out of the tractor.

It should be no issue with the tractor. The 3 PH should withstand much more than the weight of the tractor's front end as used to counterbalance the load. Even if you have and FEL on the front OR loaded up with steel weights to the max per OEM recommendations, there should be no problem with the 3 PH.

When the front wheels come off the ground, that will be your balance point so be really careful driving around with a light front end. The 3 PH lift should be strong enough to do that all day long without the need to jockey with the top link. I have lifted lots of loads with all kinds of tractors that made the front end light and never damaged the 3 PH.

That should work. I had a hydraulic top link on a forklift that often overloaded the 3PH.

All 4 tires were loaded.
