kubota L 3540 hsdc,B 2320 hsdc & lots of other stuff!
Im happy to inform you all that i am about to sell my machine and several implements to a tbn member. I dont want to reveal his identity at this time as i dont want to steal any of his glory. I met him a couple of weeks ago, he's a good man and i know he will enjoy and take good care of this (cherry) condition machine and, most important, i liked his dog! I really hate to see this machine go, everything i have posted in the past about my 3030 is the gods honest truth, the 3030 is a joy to operate!

Wow bandit! Thats a real nice arsenal! Excellent decision on both the thumb & loader stick. That tractor will handle serious duty with ease!

I didn't get to see the Pope, but i did get a visit from the King......... the Lawn King !

Lawn King delivered my new B3030 today. After selling my B2400 recently, it was time to move up to a tractor that would better suit my needs. Lawn Kings machine was in great condition, so i decided i'd better snag it before he traded it in on his new Grand L.

I had a similar problem. I thought it would just clear my 7' side garage door, but it didn't. I used my side garage as my house entrance in the winter time. I considered doing some surgery, but I realized that in the winter time that the addition of snow on the ground would have made it an even tighter fit. Fortunately my front garage door has a 10' door. This caused me to employ a different snow blowing pattern and differnt winter house entry..

Ducktape wow nice looking tractor! Sounds like a new storage building should be the next purchase or do you have room for an 8' door?

Thanks guys. I've got about 8'8" to the floor joists, so i suspect i could install an 8' door, but with much more surgery........ probably more than i'm willing to do right now. I don't get much snow / ice buildup right at the entrance because i've got just enough overhang, so with a little luck, i'll be OK next winter. I will just make sure it stays good and clean. Interestingly, i had measured an HSDC i looked at at my local dealer, which had R4s on it. It would have fit....... but the turfs are considerably larger. I'm going to re-do the trim around the opening and add a 2" strip to the top of the door. I don't think anyone will be pointing it out....... not with all the other things they could point a finger at on our house.

On a side note, this was the third or fourth transaction I've had with a TBN member... buying or selling something. All of them have been 100% positive ! TBN people are good people.:D

Let some air out of the tires , you probably only need to run 12 to 15 psi in the rears anyway, and it will give a better ride and all around traction.

The tires have rim guard, dont deflate them.

Congratulations, Duct Tape, on your new 3030 with cab. You will enjoy it in the winter when the snow is falling and it is freezing out. I hope you have great luck with it.

I was wondering if you could tell me something. I was interested in the same 3030 with cab and all the bells and whistles - but the dealer said that I couldn't get the wide turf tires that you have on your machine. (I had a 2910with the narrow turf tires and had a problem mowing slopes around the house, so I bought a 3130 with the wide Titan turf tires and they did very well on the slopes; but the machine didn't have a cab for snow removal.) I now have a 5030 with cab and those turf tires - but the machine is just too large. I am looking to go back to a 3030 if I can get turf tires the same size as yours.

Could you let me know the size of your turf tires, front and rear? And the width of the rims? And a serial number for the rims?

Thanks very much.

LS248, the tires are Titan Multi Trac C/S. Rears are 13.6 - 16, fronts are 24 x 8.50 x 14. Rear wheels appear (by my tape measure) 16 x 12 wide..... fronts 14 x 8 wide. These are whats on the 3030s at my local dealer, and i've noticed at least the L2800 rears are exactly the same tire.

One word of warning though..... as you can see, the 3030HSDC with the turfs will not fit in a standard 7' overhead door. The same tractor with R4s will fit fine (at least with my door) since the R4s are a few inches smaller.
