Kubota L3540HST+
Looking for list prices on L3540HST tractor, LA514 loader, std bucket, R4 tires. The Kubota pricing site was closed before I could get it from there. I'd also be interested in any sell prices you guys may have on this or a similar package. I'd like to get my tractor purchase wrapped up soon so I can start enjoying it.
Thank you to anyone who can help.

EastTnFarmboy/DoubleOrange,

OUTSTANDING!!!

Thank you very much for your responses. I now feel that the dealer is trying to work with me. Here's what he's offered me to this point:
L3540HST with R4 tires, LA514 loader, L2246 bucket and L8325 drawbar for $21,125. The list on this is $23,228, so his discount is 9.1%. I'm thinking I should be good for 10% off and that's what I'm going to push for. Thanks to you, I know exactly where I'm at. I believe we're close enough that it shouldn't be a problem.
You know, the salesman has been very secretive about the list pricing and discount level. Although he's been fair with me, had he been more open, we might have completed this deal already.
Gettin' close.....

Claridon:

You WANT the LA723 loader with QA. Don't even think about it. It's not enough of a price difference to muck with and it is much better loader than the other.

I would offer him the price he quoted you except for the LA723 loader with chain hooks welded and re-inforced on the bucket, a couple of work lights installed and tires loaded.

I would recommend looking into a sunshade. I didn't get one but think I will add one.

I also recommend looking at adding remotes and top n tilt.... at least a hydraulic top link with a couple remotes.

None of this stuff IMHO is higher on the priority list than getting the LA723.

If you are getting ANYTHING more than the basic tractor you should go for the Kubota 0%X36mo financing. You can fiance _anything_ you get with the tractor including 3rd party implements, etc.

FWIW I was planing to pay cash until I compared the measly $400 discount to the net present value of the Kubota 0%X36mo. deal. It was a no brainer.

Try calling the dealers in Athens & Marietta, Ohio. I'm in the Cincy area and I priced out a L3240HST, 524 FEL, QA, filled R4 tires for $22,500 in Monroe. I then stopped in at the Athens & Marietta dealers where their prices were $19,419 and $19,200 respectively for the same exact model!!!! I cover the southern part of Ohio for my job so its not that big of a deal to haul my trailer one day w/ me and buy from the eastern end of the state.

Just for comparison purposes, you should be able to start your offer out at around 16% off the MSRP.....I compared the JD dealer in Marietta and they had 16.2% off on a 3320 model recently. It is end of season so the dealer should be more likely to deal.

Good luck!!!
