Hello All,
Been reading posts for a while but not a regular poster by no means. I have a new RTVX 1100c. Bought a new Western straight plow. Hooking up the wiring wondering if anyone knows where is best to tie in the keys power. Wondering if there is a nice spot before I have to splice into the wiring harness. I know Kubota is famous for lots of leads for accessories and that in their wiring
Few pics of the work to install the mount. It is definitely heavy duty.

Thanks,

Trevor

I'd google it or do a search on Youtube. May find something.

How do you raise the plow on this RTV? Getting a 520 delivered Wednesday. Normally been plowing with FEL and BB on the tractor.

Hello RalphVa,

Update...I called the Kubota dealer and the service department advised me that there is keyed ignition power under the hood. Wires taped up with blue tape.
This Western plow is similar to that of a Snoway type. All the hydraulics are on the plow frame. The Kubota dealer has a nice plow for the 520 I believe.
See Westerns pics attached for my unit.

That one appears that it may have set you back more than the $750-950 values I've seen on them.

Yes it did. Lol.
But given that the machine is just about 2300 lbs and lots of torque. I feel a slight plow would have been buckled up in no time. Been plowing with an ATV for 23 years. So I know for our climate what will last.
