I do intend to weld a tang on back of seat to catch the back section and also add a safety chain down lower on seat so I can get rid of straps that now hold the back of the seat. They’re a little bit in the way other than that rides like a Cadillac compared to before

Nice! Is that a boat seat? My vinyl just started to pull from the seat bottom and I have never be happy with the seat ride, vinyl cover and position (need ~ 1 inch backwards).

Yes millennium boat seat they also build deer stands. I used some old angle iron to fab up a seat base bolted that to the two plates that bolt to the original seat then bolted the seat to the base I made. It did bring it up 2” I also moved it forward bout 2”. Rides good bushogged all day with it yesterday back felt great.

my seat had a tear in the corner of the back and bottom and I super glued it and then put black liquid tape over it and it has held for about a year now. This tractor sat out in the elements unused for 6 years.

The seats on Kubotas aren't normally comfortable for me. The B7500 I had lacked any cush for my tush. There were a couple bumps I crossed with regularity that would slap me unless I remembered to slow down or raise myself off the seat. Maybe I'm too big for a B7500, but it bottomed out easily. All three Kubotae I've had tried to slide me off the seat.

The B7500 and L3200 had vinyl seats that made it worse. When the weather was just right (wrong?) my jeans would weld to the vinyl and keep me from sliding forward. While it kept me in place, it was annoying to have my voice change when the jeans stayed put and I didn't.

Not long after getting each of the tractors I went to work and angled the seats up in the front to help make them more comfortable. The current tractor has a cloth seat. That's a good start on comfort, but it still came with the Kubota-required forward rake. The fix was replacing the factory seat bolts in the front with longer ones that could be adjusted and locked in place. Much better. Happy now:)
