Kubota G5200 cutting deck pulley question.

Does anyone know how to undo the nut on the pulleys? I'm finding it hard to hold the pulley and try and break the nut free? Any thing I'm missing here?

Impact gun.

Use a strap belt on pulley.

If it is a blade drive pulley, use a short 2x4 to block the blade rotation. That will secure and hold the pulley from moving.

I have tried putting the block of wood under the blade but the blade spins.

Try putting the block so that it gets jammed between the tip of the blade and the side of the deck.

I have wedged the blade but the shaft spins on the blade is what I meant to say.

Got them off tonight with a cordless impact gun, thanks for the advise guys.
