Kubota b7100 versus the Kubota b7100 hst

What are the advantages and disadvantages between the b7100 with and with out the hydrostatic transmission models. I have someone that want to trade me a b7100 non hydrostatic for my 53 chevy project. thanks for your advice .

95% of buyers want HST in a compact tractor. It allows you to go forward/reverse without having to use a clutch and gears. You may have a hard time selling it unless you find some one who’s specifically looking for a geared tractor.

If B7100HST has front loader lot easier to operate...remember there no power steering.

Id hardly say 95 %, many people prefer gear drive. A B7100 will have 3 gears plus Lo/Hi so really 6 speeds total plus 2 reverse.
