I have a Kubota B6000 E with a serious issue. This tractor been down for a while. The issue is I need a 7-16 rim for it. I have contacted as of today Tractor House, Allstate, several local and non local dealers who handle Kubota. In fact I have called about every one you can think of.
The rim is no longer made are carry by Kubota. Does any body have one are is there and alternative for it. The tractor been a good tractor for mowing and yard work. Was planning on putting a home made bucket on it. The tractor does not have much value and I hate to put the torch to it and scrap it just for a lack of rim! I thought about looking in changing the hubs but that may be more money than what I want to put in that old tractor. Also Kentucky Kubota Salvage has retire and is not doing business any more.

At the moment I have on it Turf tires 27 x 8.50 x 15. That what the operator manual also recommends. The rim does measure 7 X 16. Manual says there an ag tire there that will fit on the rim. I not sure how they got a 15 inch tire on a 16 rim it was a burger to remove from rim. Took me the most of the day to wrestle it off.

Some 3/4 ton pickups use rims that could fit, check some auto junk yards.

I have a B6100, similar. I looked at a couple pics and while it does seem like the original wheel has a specific LOOK to it, as far as i know they still use the common 6x6" lug bolt battern you would find on any '6 lug implement wheel'. You could get any 6 lug implement wheel for it, and if you wanted the rears to match you could just buy two! You could pick diameter and width within reason and still make it 'fit' however you wanted to because you have a lot of options.. you can run the hub facing inwards or outwards, face the rims inward or outward (unless they have 0 offset in which case it would make no difference) and there are 3 sets of holes in the rear axle to set the hub to so you can pick your width with some combination of all those options.

My b6100 has a 29x12.50x15 turf tire on the rear. I also have a b7100 'parts tractor' that runs a 16" rear wheel with 7-16 tire on it. Same pattern as the 16" wheels on the back of my Case garden tractor, or the 15" wheels on my old Erickson skid steer. Just look for '6 lug implement wheel' and take your pick.

Anyone who put 15 inch tires on a 16 inch rim just wasn't paying attention. If you're considering running different tires, check tire availability before wheel availability because the price difference between different tires is going to be WAY more than the price difference between different size wheels to match those tires. The cheaper wheel+tire combo may be 50-100$ cheaper PER SIDE depending on what you're looking at because some tire sizes and styles are just way less common than others.

If your tractor is 4wd you need to maintain the proper front to rear size ratio to avoid binding up the 4wd system.

If you don't like tractor tire options around that size, you can actually use UTV or 'SxS' tires on a tractor this small with no real downside. A regular car tire in an equivelant width and diameter would also make a passable 'turf tire' and those are CHEAP.

I had a thought after saying 'anyone putting a 15 inch tire on a 16 inch rim wasnt paying attention', I guess because being snide makes me feel bad and i think about it later. Anyway, IF you measure across the face of a wheel with a tape measure, it will measure approximately 1" bigger than it actually is. The rim diameter measurement, 15 16 etc, is taken from the area where the tire sits on the rim, the bead seat. There's another ~.5" of wheel 'lip' that goes past that, and when you add that on each side you end up with a diameter measurement that's about 1" bigger than what the wheel really is.

So if you got the 16" number with a tape measure, it probably is a 15" rim and whoever was mounting the tire was actually doing fine.
