Grooming snow is about removing its air. Snow has low percent of h20 so getting air out makes a durable surface to work with and ski on. Carrying that snow in front of the blade is rolling it which knocks the corners off of flakes, making it more dense.

Morning ArlyA ! Not that it needs it but have you considered a " flash kit" for them mini tanks 6x6 /tracked machines of yours ? I imagine the latest one is still under warranty ..............

Curious do you use the pods/tracks with the differentials locked? Also does your 6x6 have power steering?

Kind of a side bar here. I'm not sure it has limited slip or poise (spelling?) traction or not. With the pods on, I can't tell if one pods spins but seems that they don't do that. It really does have lots and lots of traction. It does not have power assist steering but that is one of the reasons we ordered a Outlander Max this fall which does.
