I'm considering a summer time carry gun to replace a Ruger LCP (the original generation). I'm giving serious consideration to the Kahr CW380.
I have a CW9...great gun and has been very reliable. I want something just a bit smaller for the summer (shorts and tee shirt weather).

I had one of the early Ruger LCP's...great to carry, but the trigger really sucked. I looked at one of the LCP II's...better trigger, but not as good as a Kahr trigger.

So, any of you have a Kahr CW380? How about some comments on that little pistol?

Kahr does recommend a 200 round break-in period for all their guns. I had an MK9 twenty-some years ago and even than it was a 200 round break-in.
I've seen the mixed reviews on YouTube. I think there were more issues several years ago since most (of those I watched) of more recent vintage have had better reports.
The MK9 I had..an all steel gun...never had feed or other problems. the only reason I sold it is because it was quite heavy for such a small gun...no good for pocket carry.
TBN has always been a good source of information...and I'm hoping actual owners of the CW380 will respond...
BTW, I had very few problems with the CW9 during break-in. Most were my own fault...primarily by not letting the slide slam home. Kahr recommends using the slide release...never had any FTF or FTE by doing that. I shot left handed and using the slide release is a bit inconvenient, but that's my problem...not the gun's
