John Deere Pavilion-What a disappointment

Dang. I should have known there would be some TBN'ers around Moline who could have better informed me. Sounds like I might have missed some good stuff.

I toured both the pavillion and collector's center in July 2004 and found plenty to look at. The collector's center was full of mostly 2-cyl Deere's at the time and one absolutely perfect 4020 that the shop had just finished. When my son turns 12 (this Oct) we're going back to the area for plant tours. Having said that, I would have been happy to see 4X the number of JD tractors!

As I said, when you come to this area, just give us a hollar and we will try to make some good arrangements. Deere really likes to put on the dog for tractor owners. There are some really great 2 cylinder collectors in this area. Like most of us tractor owners, they will gladly show off their prize with a few days notice. The coffee pot is ussually on and sharing stories about tractors is always great.
