John Deere 3255 FEL Mounts

Hey folks,

I am in the process of purchasing a 1992 JD 3255. I need to equip it with a loader.

I can't make heads or tails of compatible loaders and mount combinations.

I have a lead on a 640 Loader. Would this fit and what mounts would I need?

Trying to sort this out before I make the final purchase.

John Deere recommended the JD 265 and 740 loaders.

Yea, that is what I have come to understand. I am going to pass on the 640 and find a 265 or 740. The loaders seem to be easy enough to come across, the real challenge that I am finding is the mounts. The mounts for these German made Deere's seem to be made of unobtanium. Particularly up here in Canada.

Anyone know what other models that the loader mounts would be the same or compatible with the 3255?
