Could this power steering leak, cause hyds to quit? If I move the tractor back and foward a couple times and use the steering, hyds quit working. I removed the steering column. From what I read online there are 6 o rings inside it.
The last photo highlights the scoaring on the charge pump. Thanks for your help, it means a lot to me! Should there be oil behind the cover underneath the steering column? IMG_20200606_131417.jpegIMG_20200606_133525.jpegIMG_20200606_201455.jpeg

OK ! Lets throw parts to the tractor.
Return oil must go back to the gearbox. Overhaul the steeringvalve and replace to the tractor.
Replace the chargepump and rebuild all back into the tractor.
Remember to replace the splitgasket and seals . Change the hydraulic filter and oil.
Start and test .

I will overhaul the steering column, but it will take some time, because I only work on the tractor in my free time. I got mixed opinions about the charge pump, some said it could still be good and maybe there could be another issue. From your experience what do you think about the charge pump, does it look to be in a bad condition?

As I look at the pics it looks new ! I have seen worse and put it back. That pump is expensive.

You could have capped the line to the steering to rule it out.
IIRC there is oil behind the right side cover, that chamber drains to the transmission sump/case.

Have you checked clearance, drive shaft OD to gear ID of the transmission pump? Also idler shaft OD to idler gear ID of transmission pump? too much clearance could cause internal leak(s), reducing output.

I would worry more about scoring on the sides of the gears and surfaces the gear sides "engage" for scoring, that could cause internal leaks, not the pump body ID for the large driven gear.
