Just put out the garden and all those delicate baby tomato plants...and it started snowing! On May 30th! Far too warm (42) for any accumulation, but just the idea! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

Dang Boondox, what's your elevation? Whatever, you could send some of that stuff to SE Louisiana, if it is precipitation. We haven't had any real rain at my place in the last 2+ months.

Tdog -- We're only at 1500' and it wasn't supposed to drop down this far. We had no precip in April and May till this past week. Been sprinkling and sometimes raining all week now. Chilly too. Too chilly for the garden to get off to a good start.

This AM went out to a 41 degree thermometer reading. No wonder the potatoes are not up yet. I was going to plant my lima beans this weekend, but with the ground this cool they aren't gunna do anything anyway.

Pete, this is unbelievable. When we got up this morning it was 39 degrees. My wife said, it's so cold, I wonder if the mountains are getting snow. (We're in the foothills of the Green Mountains, so when we talk about mountains, we're talking about you.) I said "Naw, come on it's after Memorial Day!" We can't believe what a crazy spring this is, a few weeks ago it was in the 90's by us. Must be the depletion of the ozone layer or something!

It was spitting snow here (Northern NH) as well last night. 37 degrees now. Now here's the sad part. I am a chaperone on my son's field trip to "MT. WASHINGTON" today. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
