The beauty of retirement means that you don't have to extend your work day beyond what your body can handle. Everyday is a work day so tomorrow will work just as well as today.

I used to try to mow my 6.5 acre yard in one day buy now I just mow a section at a time. If it takes me 3 days that is OK.

Supper is at 5 pm. I know what is best for me, so I plan my day with that in mind. Mrs.tiller is happy when I am on time.

I am working on a lamp and had to drill a couple of holes in a sheild/partition. I didn't want to drill them in the wrong two corners so I made yet another trip of two hundred feet to the garage for the thirtieth time, just to double check. Made a mark with a sharpie. Drilled holes. Later when I went to assemble it, I realized that I drilled one in the wrong corner, exactly as I had tried to prevent. I have no explanation! Yet another trip required and the job of filling an unused hole!

I broke my jaw years ago by working late. Now the rule is that I quit by 9 at night. Otherwise I'm apt to make foolish mistakes.

I finally got my snowsled almost together again... now I'm back where I was at 20 minutes before I started this thread.
It's actually turned out for the better, as I apparently needed to replace the recoil spring. At least it initially broke when the sled was on my pickup tailgate, instead of 10 minutes earlier when I was 5 miles in the woods.
