Hi folks! I have read that the 430 needs an extension bracket and PTO extension to run a snowblower or a front blade. I just picked this single stage blower up, and it has a pto coupler and bracket with pull out pins mounted on it already. Are these the items needed or do I need another bracket/shaft to attach? The end of this pto coupler doesn’t have a way to lock it onto shaft, just wondering about that if it needs the extension or whatever…

A quick search of the Interweb shows you don't have all the mounting hardware. Also, the shaft and rubber guard look homemade. But don't quote me. I live in South Texas and the only snow equipment I have is a teaspoon. :ROFLMAO:

That's not going to work on a 430, and looks like something cobbles up . The PTO shaft has to be much longer with a quick release on the yoke. Also, the mount requires an intermediate bracket that the mount shown attaches to.
Here are pictures of a factory blower mount, although for a two stage blower, and a mount that I built to adapt a single stage JD blower to my 430.
Hope this helps.

I kinda figured about the attachment to the PTO universal. The guy did say it was used on a 430  . I did also pick up the front extension bracket today from a different person. Thing thats strange is looks like the hydraulic hoses are about right length to be attached to front. Gonna get it cleaned up and see what else I gotta try to find. If anyone has a picture of the single stage snowblower attached to their 430, I'd sure appreciate a picture. Probably gonna have to get one of those custom built PTO extensions off eBay since they are NLA from dealer...
