Is it me, or is it Hot?

It's hot and humid here also,just got out of the shower and stepped on the scales,lost 7 lbs. today,plus drank about 1 1/2 gallons of water.This is normal for this time of year,I'm into my 3rd Miller Lite and trying to re-hydrate to get ready for tomorrow,takes lots of fluids when it's this hot!!!

I've never taken the ferry but beleive it cuts about a days driving off the trip. If you come out this way give me a call or e-mail me. Always looking for help out at the farm be it moving dirt or holding down chairs by an evening fire and telling lies about past caught fish.

Here's some interesting reading. We expect a number of heat deaths around here each year. But even though I remember the chicago heat wave of 95, I would never have thought it consisently led the nation in deaths.

We're having a long streak of 90+ degree days with high humidity. It happens every year this time of year and I dread it every year. I need to start making plans for heading to a cool retreat in West Virginia or someplace for a week next year!
