Looks like you really have your work cut out for you. Nice, simple unit. One note - I tried a horizontal addition to my hydraulic splitter. It worked but the horizontal blade was never at the exact center of many logs. I discontinued use of the horizontal blade and went with the vertical blade. Everything came out more consistent.
