inner tube for tire

can any member recommend a good quality inner tube manufacture, ripped a gaping hole in a front tire while roto tilling today, it was more than ''slime'' could handle to fix that hole

I just go to the tire store and have them tube it, but it is a PITA, lots of complaining because the valve stems are not in conventional position on the 1850.

Have you considered foam tires? No flats, ever.

actually I have considered foam filling the tires unfortunately no one local handles the semi-firm type of foam , until the rear axle replacement is done on my truck I am unable to haul anything at the moment , but foam filled tires will be an option in the near future, I deal with a lot of black locust trees and multi-flower rose when clearing/reclaiming land and both are hard on tires, locally most guys use ''slime'' or equivalent for agriculture use. I could upgrade to a 8ply skid steer type tire, but then I would have to order rims to fit, I think scouring the surplus center's might net something I could use

I did the same to one of my tires and I am sad to say i was never happy untill i just bought another tire and slimed it. You just dont slime or plug a tire with a tube in it. Good luck though.

This isn't quit the same, but i slimed the tube that i put in my rough cut mower tire, it worked well as far as keeping air in it.

Back to the old way.

I was looking for the heat patch, but I think they now use chemical heat instead of flame.
