info on a john deere 55 rear engine mower

i have got a new toy , it is a john deere 55 rear engine mower, i would like to have some information on this ol guy, it has a type code of T2031
and serial #9750 m,

does anyone have a list of serial numbers , i would like any info on this little guy. thanks, billy norman

Deere parts cat says it is a 1970 vintage, first year for the 55 !!
