I cut the fuel off at the filter because I needed to remove the glass sleeve and in the "on" position it was not possible to remove it. To make a long story short, I forgot to turn back into the on position before my daughter cranked it up and headed out, running it dry. My question is, is it possible to crank away and the fuel to travel through the lines or will I have to prime the 3 lines?:mur:

It depends as different model(brands) are easier to get started after running out of fuel than other brands. So tractors are self bleeding. Also did your daughter try to restart the engine with no fuel and get it to run briefly? My employee ran my JD 4255 out of fuel the other day by not paying attention to fuel gauge. I put some fuel in tank, opened bleed screw on filter, pumped hand pump until air free fuel came out closed bleeder and tractor started immediately.

First, look in your operator's manual for instructions on starting (after running out of fuel) or bleeding the fuel lines.

Deere tractors are, for the most part, self bleeding...that doesn't apply to all tractors.
