My hydraulic shuttle lever was not shifting as smoothly as I would like so I lubricated the linkages. Now my shuttle is popping out of forward on me as I operate. There is no problem with reverse. I see that the shaft from the console down through the floor is threaded with a lock nut. I am thinking that I need to adjust the arm so when moved to forward it extends the forward motion so the transmission stays engaged. Has anyone adjusted one before. Thoughts or advice welcome.

Thanks

An update on my problem. I temporarily adjusted the shuttle shifter linkage only to learn that its original position was/is perfectly centred. I wiped off excess lubrication in hopes of stiffening it up again. Still happening. It pops out more often in forward LOW 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear than 1st, and never in reverse.
I have discovered that it does NOT pop out of gear at all in HIGH range, any gear, forward or reverse. I had lubricated that linkage as well so I will turn my attention there. I suspect there is a minor adjustment required the ensure the gears are fully engaged in low range.
Based on reading the table of contents for the DK shop manual online, I see there is a chapter on Shuttle Shift troubleshooting, tuning, and repair. I would great appreciate anyone with a shop manual to read to see if there is a linkage adjustment that can be made on the shuttle shift transmission, possibly on the range shifter. Any tips welcome. If someone would consider scanning/sharing that chapter, please message me.

Thanks for any help.

I see that a number of people read my thread but I am guessing it is not a common problem. To add detail, I have learned from use that the shuttle does not pop out of forward gears when facing downhill (about 5 degree grade), but does on flat and when facing uphill. As mentioned, I can keep it from popping out of gear by holding the shuttle lever with one or two fingers. Never an issue in reverse and never an issue in high range, forward or reverse.
Does anyone have the shop manual for a DK? I see from the index online that there is a section on trouble shooting the hydraulic shuttle. I would appreciate knowing what it says. Also, I found this thread, but there was no follow up on the solution and the OP has not responded to my private message...

I spoke to my local dealer and they want to have a look at it. The service manager indicated that depending on what they find they may have to split the tractor - 15 hours labour alone to do this.

As for warranty, the original owner bought it from the selling dealer in October 2016, but it turns out the dealer themselves registered it with Kioti in May 2016 which triggered the warranty. I have written to Kioti Customer Relations pleading for a warranty extension. It is not lost on me that Kioti started offering a 6 year warranty in September 2016. Go figure.

Thanks for any feedback.
